working student after mandatory internship
Hi,
I am currently doing my mandatory internship and it is almost to the end. I want to continue as a working student right after the internship and my company has asked me if the working days would be counted in the mandatory internship which I believe is not counted and the company has asked me to bring a proof of official document etc. that states that the working days for the mandatory internship is not counted into my working days.
Therefore, I want to know how and where can i get it.
Also if the working days are counted during the mandatory internship.

Answers to your questions are stated on page 6:
„Für Pflichtpraktika, die vorgeschriebener Bestandteil des Studiums oder zur Erreichung des Ausbildungszieles erforderlich sind, ist keine Zustimmung notwendig (gemäß § 15 Nr.2 Beschäftigungsverordnung). Diese Praktika sind auch dann zustimmungsfrei, wenn sie vergütet werden, da sie zum Studium gehören und daher vom Aufenthaltszweck „Studium“ erfasst sind.“
By referencing the corresponding law, your employer should have all the necessary information. Additionally, you can also request a corresponding letter or proof from the responsible Ausländerbehörde.
